on Day 3 of the 2010 FJ Summit in Ouray, Colorado
This page shows some of our fun on the 'Night in Ouray'
Last year (at the 2009 FJ Summit), one of the vendors, Metal Tech, held a special gathering at the Western (an old hotel and saloon in town)
where they invited everyone to come over, get a free pint glass with free 'local' beer and hang out ....snacks, appetizers, etc.
This year, same thing. Here are a few shots from that event...
Here, Mark (Metal Tech) is holding a short Toyota offroading trivia game, handing out hats and stuff to people that get the answer correct.
I ended up with one of the first hats to be given out (recognized one of the early Toyota sybols).
There's JammerGirl, sporting the hat I just won :)
Here's one of the Metal Tech girls coming around to give people tatoos.
Mrs. FJinCO got one, but I missed getting a shot of it here at this event. I did get the shot later though.
After hanging out at the Western for a while, some of us headed across the street to the Ourayle House
where Jeff (JeffJCruiserOuray - forum thread link) was going to be grilling up burgers, brats and chicken (totally on his own dime)
Jeff, it was great getting to hang out with you soe more on this trip. Sorry....no photos of you in here I guess (I feel like a jerk).
Send me one please and I'll get it in here.

The rear shocks and springs on this thing are so huge that they extend this far up into the rear cargo compartment

I wasn't there for the 'main event', but apparently, he was giving JamerGirl a hard time.....
she can handle her self though, and had other friends around. So, I wasn't too worried.
I'm fairly certain it was all good-natured drunk fun too :)
Well, that's it for my Friday photos.
After this, we actually went down the street to another place where they had music and dancing (oh, and Mouse's chocolates too),
but that didn't really last very long for us and we headed home to the Ouray Hotel for our last night there before moving on to a friend's place.
