Tuesday, July 20th, 2010 - Uncomphagre Peak Summit Attempt with Jared (4RnrJ) on 2010 FJ Summit Eve

The main goal this day was to attempt to summit [via hiking] Uncompahgre Peak (wikipedia);
one of Colorado's many 'fourteeners'. It's the sixth highest peak in Colorado, and highest in the San Juans.
After that, JammerGirl and I went further East and North to check out Gunnison and Crested Butte.
As it turned out, we weren't able to summit due to my bad foot (plantar fasciitis),
but it was still a fun trail run up Engineer Pass to get there with Jared (4RnrJ), and a beautiful hike.
