on our way up South St. Vrain Canyon...
Here's what the trail looked like as we rounded the sharp corner near the
beginning;
a good omen, I thought - No snow on the trail on the shady side of the mountain.

Somehow, I didn't actually take any photos of all of the crazy snow we went
through,
but at least I got this shot of one of the wimpy spots.
I have no idea why I'm even including this shot, except that it has roots (I
like roots).
OffroadFJ coming through the gate (OK, there's no gate there, but...)

After getting out and looking around a bit, this thing came running at us...
I wasn't sure what to think at first...
then there were two more of them, and an apparent owner
finally noticed the collar
found out the guy used to live in Riverside (down the road from Raymond)
JammerGirl and I went up to the top of Miller Rock
looking East to the plains
looking north-west toward Rocky Mountain National Park
Here's another version with some things pointed out.
on our way back down the other side
