About half way down Sunshine Canyon,
we decided to stop for a hike in the snow at Bald Mountain Scenic Area.
- Karen, walking through the pine tree gate on the North-West end of the Peaks-to-Pines trail around the mountain.
We'd usually go a couple times around the loop, but with a lot of nasty, slippery spots from snow melting in the sunshine and then freezing
(it was only about 10 degrees out), we decided to call it quits after just once.
Still, the landscape gets no less beautiful in the cold...
Well, that was it for our day up in the mountains.
As an after-thought, I decided to go out on my own the next day on my lunch break. click here -->
