Our First Trail-Run with some of the Colorado FJs
This is Metberry Gulch.
Sorry, but I do not have any really great photos of the actual run this time.
There are a couple video clips near the end of the photo sequence on this page.
Here's Chef just about to enter Metberry Gulch. This is where that neato log-drop is right at the beginning.
Most of the rest of these on this page are more about the scenery, I guess.
There's just something stirring about watching Sandi's siblings roaming through a burnt forest like this.
See? Scenery.
Next time, we might do a bit of rock climbing while we're in the area.
I tried to catch a photo of someone ahead of us going down that one steep gravel slope,
but they were already down out of sight by the tie I clicked.
There's the very back edge of Rob's Sandstorm (robsp222) as he descends the gravel slope.
I guess my timing isn't so great.
