Yep, it's a sticker.
A freakin sticker on my John Denver CD!! :|
Needless to say, since I work in Boulder, and this was my lunch break, I headed right over to Boulder Toyota.
When I got there, I showed the service guy the CD (Title side first, of course).
He looked at it and said, "Hmmm. There's a sticker on your CD."
I said, "Ya. Have you ever seen this sticker before?"
He said, "No. Where'd it come from?"
I said, "From inside the CD player in my FJ" (he knew which FJ, it only had about 2000 miles on it and I'd already been in at 1200 miles for a 'finger-tight' front diff bolts problem that was allowing diff fluid to leak out onto my exhaust manifold....I guess they have Monday morning's at the factory in Japan just like here in the states).
Anyway, as usual with this kind of freakish thing, he said, "Wow! I've never seen anything like that before"
Of course, they're not authorized to open the CD player to investigate, so he said that unless I'm thinking another sticker is just about to peal off from somewhere inside and get caught on another CD, it's probably best to just let it be for now (saying this as he was removing the sticker from the CD for me).
I agreed and went happily (though wearily) on my way. . .
