The green text on black background on the right side of the images is from the
desktop on my computer where I get news flashes from various news agencies in a
little Active Desktop item.
Did you notice how many times the plane crash is mentioned, and what those news
flashes have to say about it? The BBC and CNN both tell of survivors. BBC says
"Many survive Nigeria plane crash", while CNN says, "'More than half' survive
Nigeria crash" ...twice.
Then, the CNN news page which you see opened in my web browser window is what
came up when I clicked one of the news flash links on my desktop.
As it turns out, according to CNN,
"Earlier, Oyo state spokesman Abilola Oloko told The Associated Press that "more
than half of those on board survived."
But he later said that "the latest reports coming to us say that all the people
on the plane died," AP reported.
He cited confusion at the crash scene for the conflicting reports, which
couldn't be immediately verified, AP said.".
If you want to learn more about what happened, who was on board, etc, here's a
link to
their story about the crash.
